Just like a child starts getting all tingly inside around the beginning of December, Spring stirs up some giddy feelings in me. When Spring arrives, my heart knows that Spring Break and Summer Mission trips are just around the corner.

Home For the Holidays
So, you looked so forward to the Thanksgiving break. You got to put off homework for a few extra days. You ate several good home cooked meals and slept more than you had in a couple of months. You caught up with some friends whom you had not seen in a while. For the most part it was great. However, there were also struggles. Having experienced several college holiday breaks and talking with many others about their experiences, I have a few suggestions on how to make the upcoming Christmas break survivable, enjoyable, and even fruitful in your relationship with God.
Alumni Reunion ‘09
The Wesley Foundation of Austin hosted an Alumni and Friends reunion November 13th and 14th. It was a great time to reconnect with Wesleyites from years gone by, hear stories about Wesley experiences in the past, and continue connecting the Wesley generations. Keeping our Wesley family connected, informed, and involved continues to be a growing priority [...]

and I will bless you;
I [...]

The Art of Being Thankful
Recently we gathered all 4 of our different leadership councils for a time of remembering and giving thanks to God for what he has been doing in and through us this semester. It reminded me of some very important lessons I had learned in the past about the importance of being thankful. I’m particularly inspired [...]
Finding Peace in Confict
Our journey through Ephesians continues this semester at Overflow. This past week we looked a blueprint that Paul established in Ephesians 2: 11-22 on how conflicts can be so divisive, yet the work of Christ through the cross and resurrection can deepen, sweeten, and grow relationships between individuals and groups of people in the midst [...]
